Neighbors helping neighbors in need is the theme for our 2nd annual food drive being held at the Food Bank on Saturday, March 9th from 9am-noon.
We are looking for cereal, small jars of peanut butter, and pasta sauce as our top three needed items, all non-perishable items will be accepted. We also take backyard garden produce or fruit from your trees, the food drive is a great day to drop off.
How can you help? We have volunteer opportunities for that day helping to collect and sort food, please visit our volunteer central to sign up.
We are also taking a page out the Boys Scouts book to encourage people to host a neighborhood food drive. Print a few flyers and attach them to bags, then drop them off to your neighbors with a date listed for pick up. Collect the donations from your neighbors and bring a trunkful of food to the food drive on March 9th. This is an amazing way to collect items and donate.
Here are flyers for you to use for a neighbor hood collection. Thank you for your support!
